Hello Darshan. Thanks for your reply.
My Laptop is a Toshiba L755-15W. PSK6ME-011004EN. Originally W7 now upgraded to W10. 64 bit processor.
I am not sure whether I have a problem or not with this Laptop after this x86 ACPI driver update as all seems to be working ok. I take it I am correct that x86 means for a 32 bit processor?
I have looked in Device Manager for this ACPI driver update installed yesterday but I cannot find it.
I have also attempted to look in Toshiba Support site for a related driver update but no luck there either. It seems this Satellite model is no longer listed.
What do you think I should do if anything?
Thanks
G

Hi
I think I may have found some further information regarding my Toshiba ACPI Driver query which leads me to believe there are no concerns having installed this apparent 32bit driver on my 64bit laptop although I say that guardedly within my limited computer knowledge.
What I have found on my computer within System Information a driver shown as TVALZ. Web enquiries reveal it is described as a Toshiba ACPI - Based Value Ad....driver. Further checks on my computer within Driver Folder within System32 Folder revealed TVALZ as Toshiba ACPI-Based Value Added Lo........ with a date modified related to the date I downloaded the Driver Update.
There are many files within the System32 folder so I take it from that that a system 32bit driver is ok on a 64bit processor computer?
Anyway unless anyone thinks I have not fully understood my findings so far and wishes to let me know I with close this post as solved.
Thanks for the interest shown.

I have located the file you mentioned and the question is can i remove the file?
There is no previous version listed so i cannot wind it back.
Since this update my laptop takes several starts to finish loading.
The mouse pointer moves but nothing else works. All i can do is hard shut downs and restart until it loads properly
Hopefully somebody will come along who can answer this question.
Thanks
MarkO

I hope this helps you. Unfortunately I do not have anything further to offer.
