Thanks Zac, I'll see how that goes.
Edit. Just did and now have access. Thanks! That's good, cheers. So to summarise, I very quickly:
Took someones advice on the internet about meddling with my computers techy stuff.
Took someone elses advice from a website I have no idea whether is safe or not
Which sent me to someone elses website where you copy and paste a bunch of unfamiliar code.
Then you make your own file and when you run it it says it's 'made by Microsoft Corporation' when really I just made it right then and 'can it have privileged access?'
I let it do what it wanted, it made an unknown number of changes to my computer, and fortunately seems to have worked ok with no immediate side effects. Bit risky! Imagine wanting WPV on a work machine..Heavens..
M$- I have to say; this is terrible product design- especially from an industry leader in modern times?
I was reminded to come back here because I tried to open a photo- which should be straightforward, right? But I ended up sitting there thinking 'What's taking so long?', reminding me that I had complained about this very recently..

If I have to hack my OS because the provider took away a perfectly good, very basic app and replaced it with one that is just a pain, then you have to consider the implications of this.
Even more annoying I fixed a friends Win10 install recently and they had the option of it available likely because they upgraded in stages. Meaning come on MS one Win10 install has the MS default app and another Win10 install (rather painfully) doesn't? Or hides it?
Ok. Seemed to work, attempt this at your own risk readers.. Thanks Zac
