Some Warcraft III Battle.net players have recently been using a map hack to remove the fog of war, which grants them a major advantage against opponents who don't cheat to see more of the map than the game would normally allow. Since the issue affects ladder games, there's concern that the hack could let players gain ranks unfairly. Blizzard has announced that it's aware of the issue and is working to 'neutralize' the hack.
As a part of this effort, Blizzard has said that it will ban the CD key of anyone caught using the hack to prevent them from playing on Battle.net and that it 'will continue to randomly monitor games connected through Battle.net to ensure fair play.' Blizzard also suggested that players who suspect the hack may have been used against them should save the replay of the game and send the file to hacks@blizzard.com. Unlock Extra Ending[edit]
Beat the Night Elf campaign on the HARD level setting and after the original ending (with all the outtakes) a Starcraft battle takes place using the Warcraft III 3-D graphics engine.

Hydralisk[edit]
In the second Night Elf mission in the campaign mode (Chapter 2: Daughters of the Moon) you can find a Hydralisk at the top of the map, slightly to the left of the top right fountain of life. The easiest way to find it is to create an owl scout and fly it up towards the fountain and then move left along the top of the map until you see it. I don't think it is possible to fight it, but it is a nice easter egg for Starcraft fans.
You can control it as it will become your ally.. reach as close to it as possible(the area above the log) and you will recieve 3 night elve catapults (forgot their name: ballistae?). Use them to cut a path through the trees to ths Hydralisk and you will be able to use it.
